«Through photomontages based on photographs of myself taken when I was a child in 1970s and 80s London, I reflect upon the strangeness and tension of the experience of growing up. By transforming these family pictures I attempt to lay claim to a time in life when parental narratives were the overarching drivers of my sense of self and identity.»
